The Northern Retro 2016 Show was a huge success

Back in September at the Crosland Moor Airfield, the largest show the Northern Retro Car Club has ever put on, went off with a bang and Jason was there to share his UK Honda club joining in on the fun. With tons of sponsors, shine contests, activities and special guest James Whitham, former British Superbike Champion, the smell of nostalgia was strong during the beautiful fall weather. The event was held on September 25th.

For the event, Jason organized an Old Honda Meet on Facebook for close friends and locals in grouping together to help make sure the retro Honda presence was strong. From Simons Carr’s race ready Civic hatch to Chris Scott’s red NSX, the TN even had a era specific E1500 Honda generator on the back with it’s rear panels down.

Motorbikes did not disappoint with a few bikes poking in including a Honda RC162 and a numerous Z50’s. The 90’s Honda RC250R was put nicely on display, reminding us of the early grand prix bikes that were released in 1984.

Being this was the clubs first, large scale event, we expect next years to be even more spectacular. Stay tune for more!
