2016 was perhaps one of the biggest years for HondaFest NW. The sheer volume of great Honda builds brought with it some excellent old school rides that we wanted to share with you. To start, we have this trio of amazing 1st gen Civics. All 3 of them were from north of the border, where the 1g Civic following is perhaps the strongest of anywhere in North America.
This blue Civic was looking amazing, rocking a turbocharged, D-series swap, and some stand-out custom upholstery.
A frequent visitor to the area shows, and covered in some previous posts, Justin March’s wagon packs a turbocharged B16, and pretty much every feature you can imagine.
This Civic, owned by Bobby Lisle, looked amazing sporting the black stripes and hood garnish against the white paint. The black and white scheme carried to a fresh interior that really tied the whole car together.
We couldn’t believe that this 1g CRX has well over 200,000 miles on it’s clock. Looks as good as the day it rolled off the showroom floor with an engine bay you could eat out of.
A car often under appreciated was this 3rd gen Prelude with metallic purple paint and a turbocharged build of a B20A5.
Hidden way in the back of the VIP parking was this 3rd gen Civic. We love the subtle modifications, and just how clean this car is overall.
Even further out in the free parking area was this clean example of a 1st gen Prelude.
We hope you enjoyed this gallery. Keep checking back for more show coverage throughout the year!
