No oil in your Honda? You’ve got 1 Hour!

This 1.8l CVCC engine outshines on its ability to keep on going whether you agree with the additive treatment or not!

We recently stumbled upon this intriguing 90’s VHS taped example of how long your engine will run without oil, with only the aid of some engine oil additive! It’s rather disturbing to watch the two guys enjoy the awesomeness of ruining this EK1 engine in the donored ’82 Prelude. The engine remarkably runs for an incredible 56 mins max, within the 1-1.5k rpm range before seizing up. Experimentation or not, it’s still a rather quirky reminder how tough your old-school Honda is!

Wow that’s good to know! I’ll go longer between oil changes then. 😛
