The N600’s are coming, The N600’s are coming! Wait what?
Already a year after it’s introduction in the US, the Honda N600 was the first Honda automobile ever released officially in the United States starting in 1970. It was the successor to the N360, released in Japan in 1967 and featured the 599CC EA air-cooled engine.
America was still getting use to the strong market & sales of Honda’s motorbikes from their vast dealer network already established. To help release a new product Honda thought, why not add it with some campy goodness for the 70’s? If the fuel pump from the oil crisis of ’73 isn’t an ironic setup for a commercial made in ’71…..Honda we have to hand it ya. Prepare for the invasion!
